Exploring Social Care in Theory and Practice

What are the established practices in social care provision?  And how do they relate to theoretical approaches?  These are the issues addressed in this module, where you’ll examine subjects such as the range of social care work, working with carers and professionals, and getting support, feedback, and working in partnership. You’ll develop your skills in the use of theory drawing on the work of key thinkers like Freud and Bowlby – and you’ll also develop more practical skills.

Assessment
