Skills for Learning and Psychology

This module encourages you to consider yourself as a learner and explore how your learning potential can be maximised to aid the achievement of personal objectives. The main topics covered include learning styles, stress management, work life balance and continuing professional development. You'll also learn how to develop your general study skills – essay writing, effective reading and note taking, critical thinking, taking part in research, accessing library information, using computers and online research.

Assessment

There are a number of formative assessments that you complete as part of your study and forward to your academic tutor for grading and comments.

You’ll also take a summative assessment at the end of your module that determines your final mark.

30% Examination

Exam venues are located across the UK and exams take place in April and November.
