With today’s technical advances, demography and higher patient expectations, there are huge demands on finite healthcare resources. It all means effective management is more of a challenge than ever. This module will cover the skills needed to manage a quality, patient-centred health service, including the role of the manager, finance and the importance of leadership and people management.

Assessment
There are a number of formative assessments that you complete as part of your study and forward to your academic tutor for grading and comments.
You’ll also take a summative assessment at the end of your module that determines your final mark.
