This module explores this issue in depth and aims to give you an understanding of how different agencies and disciplines work collaboratively. You’ll cover a broad range of subjects, from the links between social care and the community, to working effectively with carers, policy makers, professionals and a mixture of public, private, and welfare agencies.
What does the module cover?
Gain an understanding of the development of community care in Britain and the contemporary mixed economy of provision including the voluntary sector. Gain insight into the diversity of groups and their needs to which the mosaic of community care must respond.
