Managing change in any organisation is a challenge – and this module explores key issues surrounding its implementation, as well as describing techniques for managing projects that will deliver change within the healthcare sector. You’ll look at subjects such as drivers of change, how changing environments affect individuals, and organisational culture and change.
What does the module cover?
Get to know the key issues and concepts in change management and understand implementing change required effective project management. Learn to interpret information about stakeholders, and distinguish between different organisational cultures and their impact on change. You’ll have the opportunity to gain practical skills in proposing strategies for change in organisations, and to design and implement a simple project plan.

Assessment
In addition to completing a number of formative assessments as part of your coursework that you can forward to your tutor, you’ll also need to successfully complete two summative assessments – a coursework assignment (2,500 words), plus an unseen exam, each counting towards 50% of your final grade
