Work Based Learning – Employability
The aim of this module is to enhance your organisational, personal and professional development within the healthcare environment. Studying in your own workplace, you’ll develop transferable, independent and lifelong learning and employability skills. Working with an allocated tutor, you’ll plan, negotiate and manage your own study in a way that’s appropriate to your situation.
What does the module cover?
Learn to critically reflect upon your own personal and professional skills, experience and aspirations. You’ll construct a position statement and a career development action plan within your own Personal Development Plan. You’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and knowledge to plan a work based project, and produce a written report.

Assessment
In addition to completing a number of formative assessments as part of your coursework that you can forward to your tutor, you’ll also need to successfully complete three summative assessments, counting towards your final grade:

Work based report (3000 words) 60%
