Learning to study research skills is a key part of the home study Social Care degree from ICS. During this module you will learn how to evaluate social care research. Research Skills for Social Care

This module will enable you to develop your skills for academic learning, employability and research at level two.  In addition to exploring research, you’ll also examine your position as a researcher, and develop skills in evaluating published research.  As well as this, you’ll cover methodologies and ethical issues that will shape your field work. You’ll also discover the personal skills required for managing your project report at level three and develop your skills in independent thinking and working on your own.

Assessment
