Personality & Developmental Psychology

Enrol on this module to explore a range of current issues and debates in social, emotional and cognitive aspects of psychological development.  You’ll examine all the key components of personality and developmental psychology.

What does the module cover?

Become proficient in a number of main themes, issues and theoretical approaches to personality and developmental psychology.  Develop critical thinking to describe, compare and evaluate competing theoretical approaches in this area.  You’ll also learn to explain and evaluate research methods used to investigate personality and developmental psychology and communicate related issues effectively.

Assessment

You’ll be required to sit two separate exams each counting towards 50% your final grade, and must be passed:

  • Two-hour end of module exam on Personality and Motivation
  • Two-hour end of module exam on Developmental Psychology
