"As a course advisor I try to determine what students are looking for from a course, whether they want to further their careers or are looking for a vocational pursuit. This helps to find the ideal course for them. For example I may ask where they see themselves in 5 to 10 years time, what they want to do in the long term future, what they see as their dream career, and what they enjoy doing in their spare time. If someone is undecided, asking them a variety of questions helps to build a picture of the person and determine which course would benefit them most."

"When a student contacts us enquiring about our courses it is important to establish their reasoning behind wanting to do a course. As trained course advisors we can listen to their needs and guide them accordingly. There are no specific deadlines for our degree course modules, therefore if a student is busy with other commitments they can put the course to one side then get back into studying when they have more time available. Students are in control of their studying - a flexible approach means that studying can fit around other commitments."

"It’s important to find the best course for a student – a course that they will benefit greatly from studying and that will offer the opportunity to further themselves and their career. Our aim is to make students feel confident that they have enrolled on the correct course for their own particular career path and reassure them that their goals are within reach through our flexible approach to studying."
