SME (Small/Medium Enterprise) Marketing 

Increasingly, SMEs (or Small/Medium Enterprises) are appreciating the importance of marketing – making this a growth area for employment opportunities. The aim of this module is to give you an understanding of marketing processes in the context of SME and fast-growth entrepreneurial firms. You'll look at marketing strategies adopted by successful SMEs, techniques and tools of marketing analysis, as well as niche marketing strategies and approaches to mainstreaming.

>Entrepreneurial marketing and marketing entrepreneurship
>Techniques and tools of marketing analysis in SMEs
>SME marketing networks and competencies
>Niche marketing strategies and approaches to mainstreaming
>Role of the internet in entrepreneurial firms' marketing
>Marketing turnaround – dealing with business failure crises and strategic turnarounds. 

Assessment

There are a number of assessments that you complete as part of your coursework and forward to your academic tutor for grading and comments.

You'll also take a summative assessment at the end of your module. Exam venues are located across the UK and exams take place twice a year. Please note that there are additional assessment fees for each module.
