What does the module cover?
Develop skills for life and academic learning. You’ll learn to carry out research, source appropriate reference material and adopt critical thinking to analyse, interpret and evaluate published data. Become familiar with IT systems, electronic communication and basic computer packages relevant to a degree in business studies. You’ll gain experience of group work and have time to reflect on your own learning and progress.

The summative assessment for this module takes two elements, counting towards your final grade:
- Foundation Personal Development Plan 25%
- Portfolio 75%
The Portfolio should contain your completed Personal Development Plan with associated reflective work, in addition to records of formative assessments and an individual essay.
