Business Project
With this project-based module you can put all your learning into practice by selecting a topic of your choice and then writing a dissertation on that topic. This will demonstrate effective research, analysis and communication skills, as well as your ability to work independently.
What does the module cover?
Demonstrate ability to manage and complete a project with minimum guidance. Produce an original synthesis of ideas, data and discussion relevant to the research question or hypothesis addressed. Derive appropriate conclusions and/or recommendations from the evidence and/or discussion presented. Write a dissertation which has a clear and logical structure and which expresses ideas with clarity. Gain skills for life in learning to produce a substantial piece of research-based work.

What’s involved?
- The topic you choose must be on Business-related and relevant to your specialism – whether it be Law, Finance, HR or Marketing
- Projects may be based on primary data but projects based entirely upon secondary data or upon published sources will be acceptable
- All projects are expected to address a specific research question or else test a hypothesis
- All projects should make reference to relevant academic work, whether in the form of theory, concepts, models or techniques.

Assessment
You’ll be assessed on the quality of your dissertation, which will be a maximum of 10,000 words.
