The Critical Issues in HRM module is part of the home study BA (Hons) Business Management (Human Resource) course.

The home study BA (Hons) Business Management (Human Resource) course allows you to study for a business degree through convenient and cost-effective distance learning. The course is structured in small, manageable modules, to gain an honours degree you need to complete 18 modules.

The Critical Issues in HRM module you'll study a number of contemporary HRM issues and be encouraged to evaluate each issue on its effective contribution to people management and the business goals. As well as forming part of the home study BA (Hons) Business Management (Human Resource) course, the Critical Issues in HRM module is also available to study on a standalone basis as part of your personal development.

Critical Issues in Human Resource Management 

In this module you'll study a number of contemporary HRM issues and be encouraged to evaluate each issue on its effective contribution to people management and the business goals. The main topics you'll cover include performance management and high performance systems, the labour process, stress in the workplace, and strategy, HRM and business performance.

Assessment

There are a number of assessments that you complete as part of your coursework and forward to your academic tutor for grading and comments.

You'll also take a summative assessment at the end of your module. Exam venues are located across the UK and exams take place twice a year. Please note that there are additional assessment fees for each module.
