Career opportunities

As you might expect, there’s a strong demand for Finance graduates in all types of industrial, commercial and financial organisations, as well as the public sector.  You could find yourself working for a small independent or medium-sized company to one of the larger blue chip companies, who tend to offer more structured training, experience and promotion opportunities.  Alternatively, you could become a self-employed finance consultant.  In whichever case, you’ll discover opportunities and challenges along the way.

Module Specific

Awards Available

When successfully completing a module you’ll gain 20 credits.  In order to gain an Honours Degree you will need to obtain a total of 360 credits – 120 credits at each level.  However, if you prefer to graduate early, you can choose from the following Intermediate Awards.

Intermediate Awards

• Ordinary Degree – 300 credits (15 modules)
• Diploma of Higher Education – 240 credits (12 modules)
• Certificate of Higher Education – 120 credits (6 modules)
• University Undergraduate Certificate – 40 credits (2 modules)
• University Undergraduate Associate Certificate – 20 credits (1 module)

Remember that whichever option you choose; you’ll receive only one final award.
   

Payment Options

At ICS, we make it as easy as possible for you to get started on the degree programme of your choice by enrolling you on two modules.

When you contact us we will take you through a pre-entry process.  Once you decide to proceed, you will then have a telephone interview with an ICS advisor, receive a ‘pre-entry’ pack with content such as a learning styles assessment and basic study skills information etc.

ICS will support you on the first two modules of your programme with our friendly mentors and expert tutors. This will help you gain increased confidence and develop the necessary skills needed to succeed in your studies.

Once you have successfully completed these initial modules you would be eligible to enrol for the full undergraduate programme if you wish.  UEL will directly provide the support you need as a distance learner to successfully complete your chosen degree programme. This will allow you to benefit from being a university student and a member of UEL’s vibrant and diverse educational community.
