The Legal System (Legal Method)

In this module you will acquire specific skills required for Law, such as the ability to interpret and analyse legal materials and the ability to construct legal arguments.  You'll also gain a thorough understanding of key aspects of the legal system.

What does the module cover?

Understand the structure of reported cases and legislation, as well as the structure of courts.  Acquire the skills to analyse and interpret legislation and reported cases.  Construct valid, clear and concise legal arguments that support conclusions, both orally and in writing.  Work in a group to analyse legal materials and factual situations.  Reflect upon your employment aspirations and learn about current employment opportunities.
