The distance learning BA (Hons) Business Management and Law course allows you to study for a business degree through convenient and cost-effective home study. The course is structured in small, manageable modules, to gain an honours degree you need to complete the necessary modules to gain 360 credits.

The Law Project module of the distance learning Bachelor Degree in Business Management and Law course allows you to study an area of law that interests you and write an in-depth dissertation on it. With the help of a tutor you will select a topic to research and prepare a thesis on it to demonstrate your analytical and communication skills.

Law Project

This is your opportunity to put all your learning into practice by writing a dissertation on a legal topic of your choice that you agree with your tutor. It will allow you to demonstrate your research, analysis and communication skills as well as developing your organisational skills and ability to work independently. You will have regular contact with a personal tutor with expertise in your subject area. The equivalent of two modules, the project is worth 40 credits.

What's Involved

The project provides the opportunity to explore a legal topic of your choice and develop organisational and research skills. You must:

>Agree a chosen subject area with your tutor
>Produce a brief project proposal to be approved by your tutor
>Submit a more detailed research proposal inclduing a draft chapter of 4000 words
>Submit your Final Project

Assessment

Your formal assessment is the project itself (max 10,000 words). You tutor will assist and support you throughout the project. Please note that there are additional assessment fees for each module.
