NCFE Health and Safety - 1 day course

All employees should be aware of and knowledgeable about health and safety in the workplace. This course is ideal for employees at all levels, providing them with the underpinning health and safety knowledge that they will require to work safely and efficiently on a daily basis. This training will equip employees with the measures necessary to control or reduce risks to the health and/or safety of anyone who might be affected by the activities of anyone at work.

 

This is a one day group course only, you can not buy or study it on your own.  To discuss a group booking, please call.

Entry Requirements

There are no pre-requisites for this course, although it is recommended that you either currently work in this discipline, or are interested in doing so.

Assessment

Each learner's progress throughout the day will be assessed by the Tutor, and at the end of the session, each learner will complete a multiple choice questionnaire which will be marked by the Tutor also.

What will I get?

You will be provided with an expert Tutor who will deliver the session face-to-face, provide course materials for each learner to keep, and provide individuals assessment throughout the day. On successful completion of the course, you will be awarded a NCFE IIQ Certificate.

  • Understand the importance of health and safety in the workplace and the need to work safely wihtin your organisation
  • Identify the assess risk within your workplaces and apply appropriate control measures
  • Have the knowledge and skills needed to work safely and without risk to health of yourself and others
  • Identify key hazards in your own workplace
  • Understand the importance of health and safety rules and working procedures.
