As a programme manager you will play a hugely important role in business, helping to shift the direction of the company by enabling it to move towards strategic goals. The Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) course will provide you with the skills to do that, building on your existing project management skills and experience.

A foundation-level qualification, the MSP® course will give you the fundamental programme management knowledge you need to progress to further accredited study and certified MSP® practitioner status.

You will learn the basic principles and programme management processes for managing change in business, and explore ways in which to design and deliver a blueprint for change.

The development of vision statements and programme plans will be explored, as will the importance of risk management and stakeholder engagement. And as part of the role of the programme manager, you'll learn to openly resolve issues, and evaluate programmes on an ongoing basis, ensuring continuous quality control.

The APM Group, based in the UK, provides high-quality accreditation and qualification services to organisations. It currently accredits our project management courses including our PRINCE2® qualifications.

PRINCE2® and MSP® are both Registered Trade Marks of the Office of Government Commerce in the United Kingdom and other countries'. ICS sells the MSP and PRINCE2 courses under license from the ILX Group, which is an ATO.

Assessment

You will be required to complete one exam on completion of your course.

Final Exam: 50 multiple-choice questions which must be answered within 40 minutes. 30 correct answers are needed to pass.
