If you're looking to work in a Windows Server 2008 environment where you will be involved with configuration of Active Directory, then this course is for you.  Through the teaching of Active Directory server roles, its relationship with Directory Services, certificate management and group policy, this course gives you the skills to become an expert in your field.

Entry Requirements

To successfully complete your exam, you should have at least one year's experience implementing and administering a network operating system where there are:

  • 250 to 5,000+ users
  • At least 3 physical locations
  • At least 3 domain controllers
  • Network services and resources including messaging, a database, file and print, a proxy server, a firewall, the Internet, an intranet, remote access, and client computer management
  • Connectivity requirements including connecting branch offices and remote users to the corporate network, and corporate networks to the Internet.

What will I gain?

After passing this course, you will receive the MCTS Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuration certification.

You will also have passed one of five exams necessary to gain the MCITP Enterprise Administrator certification and one of three exams necessary to gain the MCITP Server Administrator certification.
