The ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing is suitable for you if your role is tester, test analyst, test engineer, test consultant, test manager, user acceptance tester or software developer.

It is also suitable for anyone who wants a basic understanding of software testing, such as project managers, quality managers, software development managers, business analysts, IT directors and management consultants.

The course will cover the fundamentals of software testing, different levels of testing, choosing appropriate test techniques and test management.

Holders of the Foundation Certificate will be able to go on to a higher-level software testing qualification.

Delegates should already have a basic working knowledge of IT and an understanding of the testing role in software development
