ICS Professional Receptionist

Receptionist jobs can be yours for the taking if you have the right aptitude and skills set - exactly what our Professional Receptionist course is designed for. Whether you are a company, medical, school or hotel receptionist, you are the public face of the organisation you work for and your receptionist skills are vital, from the friendly greeting to the professional approach needed for the practical aspects of the job. The Professional Receptionist course will prepare you for a first receptionist job or help you advance an existing career as a receptionist.

Our Professional Receptionist course will guide you through the principal elements of receptionist duties. You will develop your natural flair for making people feel welcome and learn to analyse your professional image to make sure it reflects that of your company.

You will be trained on modern office equipment and learn to use various communication channels, being taught how to arrange business travel and accommodation.

The receptionist skills you learn will include using effective listening and communication skills and dealing with difficult calls. You will also learn how to create and maintain a pleasant reception environment while attending to issues of safety and security.

The receptionist course will also study the role of the receptionist in specialist areas. You will look at the different skills required of a hotel receptionist, a medical receptionist, an office receptionist and a school receptionist.
