Whichever way in which you want to apply your learning, the ICS Interior Design Diploma will enable you to develop the confidence to try out your ideas in reality. Use your folder of work to demonstrate your newly-developed competence and use your skills in a context that works best for you.

What will I gain?

You can use this diploma to present to potential employers, display on your CV and use as a basis for further study.

Assessment

Assessments are a great way of checking your progress, while projects allow you to apply your learning to real-world situations. Along with self-assessed activities and progress checks throughout the learning materials, you will complete five tutor-marked assessments, one in each unit.

In addition, and detailed in the final unit, you will complete one practical project from a choice of three, and also produce a folder of work that demonstrates your learning and progression throughout the course.

Assessment Notes

Your folder of work includes all of the background and research studies that you have made along the way, together with your tutor's comments about your course work. Your folder should be related to your practical work, which must be relevant to your course work and the practical work you have been doing.

Generally, assessments can be sent to us online via the ICS Student Community: it's the fastest way to receive your results. Alternatively, you can post them to us - in fact, due to the nature of the work you'll be completing, you may find that some projects can only be posted.

What will I get?

We are experts in home learning and offer you all the support you need along the way. You'll receive study materials that have been specially designed for distance learning, and have access to a dedicated tutor and our student services team should you require assistance.
