The IAB Level 2 Award in Manual Bookkeeping course builds on the
bookkeeping skills and knowledge you have gained in the Level 1
course, and is accredited by the International Association of
Bookkeepers (IAB), the leading UK and international professional
body.
It takes your study of bookkeeping a step beyond the basic
bookkeeping skills you already have. You'll add to your knowledge
of manual bookkeeping routines such as making and receiving
payments, double entry bookkeeping processes, payroll processing
and the preparation of trial balances. You'll gain further insight
into cash and credit transactions, VAT calculations and other
manual routines.
Whether you are already working in an entry-level bookkeeping
job or looking to enter the field, the abilities you'll develop
through the level 2 qualification will be highly prized by
potential employers. You will also have gained the knowledge you
need to progress onto further IAB training.
You don't need any previous experience or qualifications to
enrol in our IAB courses. That's because we believe in making home
study - and a rewarding future - as accessible as possible.
However, completion of the IAB Level 1 Award course is preferable,
and you will need basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Employers need skilled bookkeepers. This qualification will
equip you for an entry-level bookkeeping role, and set you on the
path to a successful career in the field. If you choose, you can
progress onto further IAB accredited studies, and move up the
career ladder.
On completion, you'll receive the IAB Level 2 Award in Manual
Bookkeeping.
