In this GCSE Law course you will learn the fundamentals of
British law and see how it is developed in our present-day
system.
You will learn about the different arms of the court system and
the processes involved in applying the law in the UK, exploring the
many career opportunities offered.
You will also study the law in action, both in civil and
criminal law. You will also study family law, which is playing an
increasingly important role.
The GCSE Law course has been designed to give you more than just
a factual study of the law, and will help you see it as a process
which changes in response to the changing needs of society.
Even if you aren't planning a legal career, GCSE Law covers
subjects like employment and contract law that affect almost
everyone. Passing GCSE Law also shows you can deal with complex
topics and present information and arguments clearly.
You don't need any previous experience or qualifications to
enrol in our GCSE Law course. That's because we believe in making
home study - and a rewarding future - as accessible as
possible.
A GCSE in Law will give you vital skills that can lead onto A
Level and further studies in law, eventually leading to a career in
one of the varied arms of the law or associated fields. If you are
looking for employment or to progress within employment, your GCSE
Law will demonstrate to employers that you have the ability to
commit to learning, and have acquired good reasoning and analytical
skills - essential in practically every walk of life.
This course will prepare you to sit the GCSE Law exam.
