EDI Level 1 Beauty Therapy

EDI Level 1 Beauty Therapy

The EDI Beauty Therapy course will prepare you for employment in the thriving beauty industry. With so much emphasis on beauty and youthful good looks, beauty therapists are much in demand and career opportunities for trained beauticians are booming. Our Beauty Therapy course will look at every aspect of the beauty industry, from the latest cosmetic techniques to health, safety and legal issues. You will also explore a wide range of beauty therapy jobs and career opportunities that are waiting for you.

Our EDI accredited Beauty Therapy course will start with analysis of the skin. You'll learn the latest techniques in skincare, and how environment and lifestyle can affect skin condition. You'll learn to analyse a client's skin condition and devise a facial or other skincare treatment that will suit their particular circumstances, whether it be poor condition, ageing, or routine maintenance.

Our online Beauty Therapy course will then move on to the hands and feet, and you will explore manicure and pedicure techniques and products that will beautify and help make the most of these highly visible but often neglected features.

Make-up and beauty products will also come under the spotlight, and you will learn the different types of products and how and when to use them for best effect.

As well as practical beauty treatments, you'll also learn about the beauty industry in general, with information on the health and safety aspects you will face and about your legal responsibilities as a beauty therapist.

You'll have the opportunity to find out about the industry itself, and discover the range of career opportunities for those with beauty therapy training. You'll also gain a good overview of just what the market needs.

Whether you are planning to start up a beauty therapy business for yourself, to work for an existing salon, or are already working within the beauty industry, the skills and knowledge you'll gain through our Beauty Therapy course will make you an attractive prospect for any employer or client.
