Our CompTIA Linux+ course will equip you with the basic skills you will require as a Linux system administrator. CompTIA Linux+ certification will validate your technical competency and indicate your broad awareness of Linux operating systems. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of installation, operation, administration and troubleshooting of Linux systems.

Our CompTIA Linux+ course will allow you to build on your basic knowledge of computer hardware, software and operating systems, to increase your understanding of Linux concepts and prepare for a career as a Linux administrator.

Through the CompTIA course, you will learn the skills required of junior Linux administrators, gaining knowledge of Linux systems architecture, installation and package management. You will learn to work at the Linux command line, perform maintenance tasks, assist users and install and configure workstations.

Entry Requirements

General knowledge of computers and computer operating systems ideally encompassing Unix knowledge because of the similarity to Linux.There are no formal prerequisites for the CompTIA Linux+ exam although it is recommended that candidates hold CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications, or have equivalent knowledge.

Candidates are required to take and pass the following exams:

  • CompTIA Linux+ LX0-101
  • CompTIA Linux+ LX0-102
