The Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) course will provide you with the knowledge to discuss, design, and create switched and routed network infrastructures. The CCDA curriculum will provide you with the knowledge to design LAN, WAN, and broadband network access, including the basics to incorporate security, voice, and wireless network components.

It's a first level general IT certification, which can lead on to further Cisco certification, at Professional and then Expert levels, and which indicates a foundation knowledge of network design for the Cisco converged network.


Entry Requirements

The knowledge and skills contained in the Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (ICND) and Cisco Certified Network Associates (CCNA) Basics learning paths; a good foundation in the principles and concepts of networks and computers; familiarity with internetworking technologies.Candidates should have CCNA and Building Cisco Multi-layer Switched Networks (BCMSN) level knowledge in order to obtain the CCDA certification.
