The APM Introductory Certificate in Project Management course is an ideal first step in a project management career, or to formalise your experience and skills if you are already working in project management.

With its emphasis on the fundamentals of project management, the APM Introductory Certificate provides the perfect basis for further study, and can eventually lead you to certified status through the PRINCE2™ system.

You'll look at the principles that underpin successful project management, such as estimating, organising, planning and control. You'll gain insights into ways of managing people and change, and look at the vital areas of quality and risk management. You'll also learn to close down or hand over projects effectively, after reviewing and evaluating them. On completion, you'll have an internationally-recognised project management qualification that will be highly regarded by current or potential employers.

You don't need any previous experience or qualifications to enrol in the APM Introductory Certificate in Project Management course. That's because we believe in making home study - and a rewarding future - as accessible as possible.

APM is the largest independent professional body of its kind in Europe with 17,500 individual and 500 corporate members throughout the UK and abroad.

Assessment

You will be required to complete one exam on completion of your course.

Final Exam: 60 multiple-choice questions which must be answered within one hour.

Please note APM Introductory Certificate exam fees are additional to course fees at a rate of £110 + VAT.
