As part of working towards this valuable qualification, you'll gain a better understanding of many of the subject areas involved – including verification of accounting records, development of the accounting model, and preparing final accounts.

You do not need any special qualifications but some basic maths skills would be helpful.

As an ICS student you will have your own personal tutor helping you with your course work and with any questions you may have.  Plus you can contact our Student Advisors by email or phone for all the practical advice you may need – so we really are with you 100%.

What's more, you'll have access to the ICS online Student Community, where you can interact with other students, browse our resource library and manage your account.

Assessment 

Once you've enrolled on your chosen course(s), you'll receive all the information you need to arrange your own exams, including details of syllabuses, exam boards and dates. Exams are held in various parts of the UK.

Exams take place in June and the entry deadlines are mid January. Please note that exam fees are additional to course fees.
